About the Journal

PUP Journal of Science and Technology (PUPJST) is an open-access, double-blind, peer-reviewed journal published by the Polytechnic University of the Philippines; providing publication of articles in all areas of science, engineering, and technology.

The journal welcomes submissions from all researchers, regardless of their geographic location or institutional affiliation.

PUPJST publishes original scientific papers and application-focused articles, reviews, short communications, and narrative reports from recently accomplished research in all fields of science, engineering, and technology but not limited to:

Agricultural Sciences - crop and livestock production, sustainable agriculture, soil science, and agronomy

Forestry and Fisheries - Sustainable forest management, biodiversity conservation, aquaculture, marine ecology, and fisheries management

Life Sciences - Biology, botany, zoology, microbiology, genetics, and biotechnology

Food Sciences, Nutrition, and Dietetics - Food processing, food safety, human nutrition, and dietary studies

Environmental Sciences - Conservation, climate change, pollution management, and sustainability

Computing and Information Sciences - Artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, software engineering, and emerging technologies.

Mathematics, Engineering, and Technology - Applied mathematics, engineering innovations, robotics, renewable energy, and smart technologies

Research Paper Publishing Policy

PUPJST publishes articles that emphasize research, development, and application within the fields of science, engineering, and technology. All manuscripts are pre-reviewed by the editorial review committee. Contributions must be original, not previously or simultaneously published elsewhere, and are critically reviewed before they are published. Research must be written in English and should have sound grammar and proper terminologies.
