About the Journal
The Mabini Review Journal is published biannually by the Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension and Development under the supervision of Research Publications Office, Polytechnic University of the Philippines. The journal seeks to advance scholarly engagement and foster intellectual dialogue among academics. It welcomes submissions from both local and international authors who present diverse philosophical perspectives, emphasizing clarity, coherence, and logical reasoning in the development of ideas. Contributions that critically engage with contemporary issues, classical traditions, and emerging philosophical trends are particularly encouraged. Submissions should be well-argued, thoroughly researched, and contribute meaningfully to ongoing philosophical debates. It also accepts contributions which cut across the fields of literature, cultural studies, humanities, politics, social history, Philippines studies, and other related disciplines.
The goals of the publication are as follows: (1) maintain confidentiality in managing submitted manuscripts; (2) observe timely publication of the journal; (3) pursue unbiased double blind review system; and (4) ensure that editorial decisions are based on originality, relevance, and quality of a manuscript and its contribution to the body of knowledge in the disciplines that the journal seeks to cultivate.
