Tungkol sa Punong Patnugot / About the Editor-in-Chief

Si MJ Rafal ay nagtapos ng Bachelor of Arts in History at Master of Arts in Filipino sa Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), kung saan siya rin ay kasalukuyang nagtuturo ng mga asignatura sa Filipino, Panitikan, at Malikhaing Pagsulat. Ang kanyang mga tula, kuwento, sanaysay, pananaliksik, at salin ay nailathala sa iba’t ibang antolohiya at publikasyon, at kinilala ng mga institusyong tulad ng Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF), Maningning Miclat Art Foundation, Inc. (MMAFI), Sentro ng Wikang Filipino – Unibersidad ng Pilipinas (SWF-UP), at Professional Association of Translators (PATAS).

Siya ang kasalukuyang NCR Representative ng National Committee on Literary Arts (NCLA) ng National Commission for Culture and the Arts, at kasalukuyang kumukuha ng PhD in Creative Writing sa Unibersidad ng Pilipinas Diliman.

MJ Rafal graduated with a BA in History and MA in Filipino from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), where he also teaches courses in Filipino, Literature, and Creative Writing. His poems, stories, essays, research, and translations have been published in various anthologies and publications and have received recognition from institutions such as the Komisyon ng Wikang Filipino (KWF), the Maningning Miclat Art Foundation, Inc. (MMAFI), the Sentro ng Wikang Filipino – University of the Philippines (SWF-UP), and the Professional Association of Translators (PATAS).

He is the current NCR Representative of the National Committee on Literary Arts (NCLA) of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and pursuing his PhD in Creative Writing at the University of the Philippines Diliman.
