Produced and written in his detention cell, labor leader Renante Gamara contributed this song to give tribute not only to A. Bonifacio but to the “proletariat who will lead the continuing revolution of Bonifacio and ensure the national democratic struggle towards socialism, the workers society”. The song of Tay Nante, also talks about the pledge of every worker to Bonifacio and his comrades, to continue the struggle against foreign colonization and oppression. Also included are Tay Nante’s notes about the song, handwritten and smuggled out from his detention cell.
