Abstract

This paper has the objective of exploring the appropriate and right approach and application of the Pagdadala Model of Dr. Edwin T. Decenteceo (1997, 1999) in the field of Filipino Psychology. Using Thematic Analysis, the researcher features highlighted themes from not more than twenty-seven articles based on different experiences, researches, and books. The seven highlighted themes are the following: (1) Application on Clinical Psychology; (2) Approach on Clinical Psychology; (3) Application and Approach on Industrial Psychology; (4) Application and Approach on Educational Psychology; (5) Application and Approach on Community; (6) Application on Psychological First Aid (PFA); and (7) Approach on Spirituality. The Pagdadala Model can be developed because this is based on the experiences of Filipinos and every individual has their own story of burden-bearing. Siya din ay nakapagtapos ng Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology major in Educational Psychology, Summa Cum Laude sa La Concolacion University of the Philippines. Siya ay nakapagturo na ng Sikolohiya at Pamamahala ng Negosyo sa ibat-ibang Unibersidad sa bansa. Siya ay naging Tagasuri at Editor, at nakapaglathala na sa ibat-ibang lokal at internasyonal na Journals. Karagdagan, siya din ay isang National Lecturer para Psychometrician board examination, Regional Quality Assurance Assessor ng Commission of Higher Education (CHED), National Accreditor ng State Colleges and Universities sa Pilipinas, Consultant ng Human Resourse and Organizational Development ng mga pribado at gobyerdong institusyon, Certified Assessor ng ISO 30414:2018 Human Capital Reporting, at Certified Six Sigma Yellow Belt.

CARDIÑO ay isang Registered Psychometrician at isa sa mga kinilala ng Psychological Association of the Philippines (PAP) bilang Certified Specialist in Industrial Psychology at Assessment Psychology. Siya ay kasalukuyang kumukuha ng Doctor of Philosphy in Psychology major in Industrial Psychology minor in Clinical Psychology sa Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), kung saan siya ay nakapagtapos din ng Master in Psychology Major in Industrial Psychology. Kumuha din siya ng Diploma in Industrial Relations sa University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman, at nakapagtapos ng B.S. Psychology Major in Guidance and Counseling sa University of Caloocan City. Siya ay kasalukuyang nagtuturo bilang Instructor 3 sa Department of Psychology ng University of Santo Tomas, at kumakatawan bilang Pangalawang Pangulo ng PUP-Ugnayang Samahan sa Dalubisipan (PUP-USaD), Ingat-Yaman ng Pambansang Samahan sa Sikolohiyang Pilipino (PSSP), at Tagapayo ng Tatsulok-Alyansa ng mga Mag-aaral sa Sikolohiyang Pilipino.
