Publication Charge and Process

There are no article processing charges (APC).

Publication Process

• Manuscripts must be submitted through the PUP Publishing Site that uses the PKP Online Journal System. The submitting author, who is generally the corresponding author, is responsible for the manuscript during the submission and peer-review process. The submitting author must ensure that all eligible co-authors have been included in the author and that they have all read and approved the submitted version of the manuscript.

• Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

• All manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editorial Board. After submission, these manuscripts will undergo a pre-check by managing editor in collaboration with the editor-in-chief for plagiarism, academic rigor, and suitability for the journal. This process usually takes 1-2 weeks depending on number of submissions.

• If it passes the initial check, the manuscripts will go through a double-blind review in which the identities of the referees and the author are concealed from all parties, otherwise they will be desk rejected by the journal and the author will be notified immediately via email by the managing editor. In some exceptional cases, the article will be returned to the author for revision and resubmission.
