Abstract

Isang kwalitatibong pag-aaral hinggil sa ilang mga tampok na installation art ni Junyee. Magdiidiin sa pag-aaral sa pagpapahalaga ng mga materyal mula sa kalikasan at kapaligiran sa paglikha ng sining (installation art) at ang kalikasan bilang espasyo para sa edukasyong pangkalikasan. Na ang kalikasan bilang organikong materyal (tulad ng kawayan, dahon, mga sanga ng puno at iba pa) sa paglikha ng sining, ay may natural na pagbibigay kahulugan sa pagtalakay sa kalikasan bilang usapin panglipunan. Isa ring edukasyon kontra sa pananaw na paggamit ng western materials, tulad ng oleo, pintura sa canvas. Gayundin, ang kalikasan ay isang espasyo at/o tanghalan ng sining ay malakas na salungat sa pananaw na ang tinatagurian na sining ay yun lamang nasa museo at gallery.

Author Biographies

  • Leonardo Dela Cruz, Polytechnic University of the Philippines

    Leonardo “Boyet de Mesa” Dela Cruz is a cultural worker, visual / performance artist and is currently teaching in the Department of Philosophy and Humanities (DPH), College of Arts and Letters (CAL) of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. He finished his master’s in communication in 2018 and taking up his graduate study in UP Diliman ( Philippine Studies program), under Faculty fellowship program of PUP Manila. He was a core member of Tupada Action and Media Art in 2002-2012, and a member of Concerned Artists of the Philippines. He founded Solidarity in Performance Art Festival in 2016. SIPA (Solidarity In Performance Art) is an International Performance Art festival initiated by performance artists in the Philippines, promoting peace and solidarity through performance/arts.

  • Carmelo Jr. Osorio, Polytechnic University of the Philippines

    Si Carmelo Osorio ay nagtapos ng Batsilyer ng Artes sa Filipinolohiya at ng Master of Arts in Filipino sa Politeknikong Unibersidad ng Pilipinas. Siya rin ay nagtuturo sa parehong unibersidad mula 2017 bilang part-time na guro. Nakapagturo na rin siya sa PUP Biñan, PUP Pulilan, PUP Sta. Maria kasabay sa PUP Sta. Mesa hanggang ngayon sa ilalim ng Kolehiyo ng Artes at Literatura – Kagawaran ng Filipinolohiya. Siya rin ay kasalukuyang inspektor sa Inspection Management Office. Bukod sa pagtuturo ay isa ring mananayaw at nakapagtanghal na sa iba’t ibang lugar sa bansa.

  • Jeniel Dasig, Polytechnic University of the Philippines

    Jeniel Dasig is a graduate of the Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and is now pursuing her Master’s degree in the same discipline at the Divine Word Mission Seminary. She is currently teaching as Instructor at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Philosophy of work, Critical Theory, Feminism are among her research interests. She is currently writing her thesis on Critical Theory and Feminism.
