Author Biography

  • Jesus Emmanuel S. Villafuerte, Polytechnic University of the Philippines Manila, Philippines

    Jesus Emmanuel S. Villafuerte is a writer and critic based in Manila, Philippines. He has presented his research works in several national and international conferences, as a poet, his works have appeared in a number of journals and online platforms. He works as an administrative staff at the Center for Creative Writing of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and he is currently enrolled in the MA in Literary and Cultural Studies program of the Ateneo de Manila University. His research interests include: canon formation, literary and cultural studies, aesthetic theories, minoritarian literature, film studies among others.
