Nagtapos ng BA History sa Polytechnic University of the Philippines (Batch Valedictorian, magna cum laude). Tinatapos ang digring MA Philippine Studies sa Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman. Nakapaglimbag ng mga artikulo sa mga refiradong dyornal sa Diliman Review, Likhaan: The Journal of Contemporary Philippine Literature, at Asian Studies: Journal of Critical Perspectives on Asia ng University of the Philippines Diliman; Katipunan Journal ng Ateneo de Manila University, Dalumat E-Journal ng De La Salle University, Tala Kasaysayan Journal at Hasaan Journal ng University of Santo Tomas, Saliksik Journal ng Bagong Kasaysayan, Kawing Journal ng Pambansang Samahan ng Linggwistika at Literaturang Filipino, at ilang mga pag-aaral na inilathala ng ATAGAN Tayabas at ADHIKA ng Pilipinas at National Commission for Culture and the Arts at marami pang iba. Noong 2021, natanggap niya ang karangalan bilang “Mananaysay ng Taon 2021 - Ikatlong Gantimpala” na iginawad ng Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF).
